Pavel Sheremeta
Today, September 2, after lengthy negotiations and behind-the-scenes agreements, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Minister of Economic Development and Trade Pavlo Sheremeta.
At the first vote, only 213 deputies voted "FOR" his dismissal. However, at the final vote, 252 supported his resignation.
We remind you that Pavel Sheremeta was outraged by the appointment of Valery Pyatnitsky to the position of his deputy.
Valeriy Pyatnitsky spent over 10 years drafting WTO agreements. He believes the WTO agreement could have been signed as early as 2002. However, the signing was delayed by Ukraine's top officials.

Economist and educator, founder and first dean of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (KMBS), president of the Kyiv School of Economics.
Education: Economics major. In 1995, he received an MBA from Emory University Business School (Atlanta, USA), and in 1994, he completed the management program at the International Management Center in Budapest. He completed management development programs at Harvard Business School, the Blue Ocean Strategy Institute at INSEAD Business School, the China Europe Business School, and the John Welch Center for Leadership Development at GE.
