Viktor Nazarenko
Today, October 23, President Poroshenko appointed Viktor Nazarenko to the post of Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on October 6, Poroshenko dismissed Mykola Lytvyn from his post as head of the State Border Service of Ukraine. On the same day, he dismissed Pavlo Shisholin from his post as first deputy head of the State Border Service.

Biography
Viktor Aleksandrovich Nazarenko was born on March 5, 1956 in Minsk (Belarus).
In 1977 he graduated from the Lviv Higher Military-Political School, and in 1986 from the Frunze Military Academy.
From 1977 to 1983, he served in the Lviv border detachment of the Western Border District, holding the positions of deputy chief and chief of border outposts.
From 1986 to 1992, he served in the Central Asian Border District, where he was the head of a motorized maneuver group (Afghanistan), deputy chief of staff - chief of staff, chief of staff - deputy chief of a border detachment.
In 1992-1994 he held the position of Chief of Staff - Deputy Chief of the Lviv Border Detachment of the Border Troops of Ukraine.
From 1994 to 1995 - Head of the Separate Checkpoint "Prykarpattia".
In 1995-1998 - Deputy Chief of Staff of the North-Western Directorate of the Border Troops of Ukraine.
From 1998 to 2000, Nazarenko held the position of deputy commander of the direction troops - head of the operational-military department of the Southern direction of the Border Troops of Ukraine.
In 2000-2002, he was the commander of the Crimean direction of the Border Troops of Ukraine.
From 2002 to 2003 - Commander of the Azov-Black Sea direction of the Border Troops of Ukraine.
From 2003 to 2004 - Head of the Azov-Black Sea Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
From 2004 to 2014, he held the position of First Deputy Director of the Department of State Border Protection of the Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
On October 6, 2014, he was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine - Director of the Department of State Border Protection.
On October 23, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko appointed Viktor Nazarenko to the post of Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

He is married, has a son and a daughter.
