In January 2025, the NABU and SAP, together with the SBU, exposed an organized group led by Skorobahach, which had inflicted tens of millions in losses on PJSC NEC Ukrenergo during martial law. The investigation revealed that in 2022, three companies affiliated with the group entered into contracts for the purchase of electricity, which was subsequently transferred to a controlled company. The state-owned company never received the funds, as they were transferred to the accounts of financial companies under the guise of loan repayments. These financial companies then transferred the funds to other companies at 0,5% interest, which in turn laundered them in the accounts of a company registered in Bulgaria.
From court decisions it was possible to find out that we are talking about OOO Paverstock, OOO Optima-Price, OOO Nasha Energeticheskaya Kompaniya, and OOO Midbor.
Irina Khasyanova was the head of Paverstock LLC in 2022. She is a business partner of Skorobogach's wife, Viktoria, in the companies Sigma-LK LLC, Mister Steak LLC, and Kharkiv Meat Processing Plant LLC. Khasyanova is involved in the electricity theft case along with Vladimir Skorobogach.
In 2022, Paverstock LLC participated in government tenders for electricity supply. Specifically, in March of that year, it won a procurement contract for the Department of Administrative Buildings of the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine worth UAH 4,386,684. Another tender was won for the supply of electricity to Chernihiv-Oblenergo worth UAH 7,424,988. Among the major procurements in which Paverstock LLC won were the supply of electricity to Mykolaiv-Oblenergo worth UAH 20 million, the Berdyansk Port worth UAH 13,6 million, and the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine worth almost UAH 30 million.
The founder of the company OOO Optima-Price (Now it's "Vince Prime," - ed.) until September 2023, the former model and winner of the "Queen of Ukraine 2018" beauty pageant, Yana Laurinaichute, was the owner. During searches in connection with the embezzlement and money laundering case involving Ukrenergo, seals bearing the inscriptions "Laurinaichute Yana 2022" and "V. Skorobahach, Director" were seized from premises in central Kyiv.
Previously, media outlets also reported that in 2024, Laurinaičute became the owner of an investment company in Dubai, which is associated with a real estate agency selling apartments in the UAE.
The woman's residence in Dubai is confirmed by her social media profile. Although Laurinaichute has privately maintained her account, she is followed by the communities "Ukrdubai" and "Ukrainian_dubai_mgamedia."
It was also mentioned that Laurinaichute had once purchased real estate from Skorobogach himself.
Interestingly, during the aforementioned searches in Kyiv, among other things, a seal belonging to British Virgin Islands, Frendisk Holdings Limited, Company was found. This company is involved in a court case related to the "Alliance" farm, which belongs to Volodymyr Yurkov, a Kharkiv Regional Council member from the now-banned Opposition Platform - For Life.
Vladimir Skorobogach's current wife, Victoria, is, among other things, the founder of Lalsat International Ukraine LLC. This company was involved in a court case concerning the activities of currency conversion centers.

"The pre-trial investigation established that a group of individuals created a "transit-conversion group" in the city of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions during the period 2018-2019... In particular, it was established that citizen PERSON_9, being the founder and director of Techno-2017 LLC, TD Irpis LLC, Lalsat International Ukraine LLC, in collusion with other currently unidentified individuals, created (acquired) a number of business entities (legal entities), the activities of which consist of providing illegal services to a number of business entities in the real sector, the purpose of which is the legalization (laundering) of funds obtained by criminal means, forgery of primary financial and economic documents regarding non-commodity transactions for the sale (purchase) of goods, performance of work, provision of services, etc.", the court ruling from March 2023 states.
Another company mentioned in the court's decision was the "Alliance" farm owned by Kharkiv deputy Yurkov, mentioned above.
In September 2025, Volodymyr Skorobahach posted on his Facebook page that media reports of his detention abroad were untrue. However, he noted that he was indeed outside Ukraine because he had three minor children.
Victoria Skorobogach's social media page reveals that her family resides in Europe. Specifically, the son of the embezzlement suspect is actively pursuing karting during martial law. Skorobogach's wife boasts of her son's success on European tracks.
In September 2025, Victoria Skorobogach was spotted in Monaco in a flashy BMW sports car. The orange sports car had been spotted on the French Riviera since at least 2022. Its last registration was in Kyiv in 2021.

Vladimir Skorobahach's daughter from his first marriage, Karina Degtyar, likely also chose the French Riviera as a residence. This information is contained in the asset declaration of her now-ex-husband, Servant of the People MP Oleksandr Bakumov. In his financial statements for 2024, the MP noted that his son and daughter have the right to use an apartment in France "at the mother's actual place of residence."
Skorobogach's daughter divorced Bakumov back in 2021. Her current husband is Yevhen Degtyar, deputy general director of Kharkivvodokanal. Interestingly, in his latest declaration, the official failed to mention that his wife and their children, including those by Bakumov, whom he listed in the document, reside in France.
Karina Degtyar's social media page is private, but her bio suggests she works in the beauty industry. In Ukraine, Skorobogach's daughter is the founder of Slobozhansky Alliance LLC, which was in litigation with another agricultural company over ownership of several plots of land.
Volodymyr Skorobahach's other, eldest daughter, Maria, also doesn't stay in Ukraine for long. Despite being the youngest member of the Kharkiv City Council and only resigning in December 2023, she frequently spends time in London. It's known, in particular, that she received her higher education in the UK.
Maria Skorobogach's social media page reveals, for example, that in July 2025, she ate truffles for breakfast at London's Hide restaurant. This luxury three-story establishment on the famous Piccadilly Street serves various types of caviar, oysters, and lobster.
In 2023, Maria Skorobogach became the owner nine large plots of land in the Kharkiv region.
On one women's forum, you can stumble across a discussion about both of Skorobogach's daughters. Subscribers write about their husbands, not holding back on their epithets. One post reads that Maria Skorobogach "has been sitting on the Cote d'Azur since the beginning of the full-blown crisis." This refers to the same Cote d'Azur where her father, Vladimir Skorobogach, now resides with his young wife and children.
However, Maria Skorobahach also visits Ukraine. In 2023, she was fined for driving under the influence during curfew. The court ruling revealed that she and her friends had been driving around Kharkiv at night while intoxicated, for which she received a fine of 17,000 hryvnias and a one-year driver's license suspension.
Volodymyr Skorobahach received a notice of suspicion from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) in connection with a corruption case in the energy sector in January 2025. In early September, he posted on his Facebook page that he was ready to cooperate with law enforcement "if they have any questions for him." Clearly, they certainly do, as last month the case against an organized crime group, whose members inflicted multimillion-dollar losses on Ukrenergo under martial law, was referred to court. Whether justice will bring the corrupt former official from Monaco to justice and whether he will be held accountable remains to be seen.
