Perhaps this character was most afraid of news about drug seizures from colleagues in Poland.
Yuriy Prikhodko, nicknamed Yura "Yura" Student, is the acting deputy head of the Lviv Customs Office and head of the anti-smuggling department. He is responsible for detecting contraband (including the smuggling of narcotics), and he has a dedicated department for combating smuggling and customs violations. Logically, he should be held accountable for the 272 kilograms of hashish that Lviv customs officers missed. However, the State Customs Service hasn't announced any dismissals of the responsible officials or the opening of an internal investigation; this isn't Prikhodko's first setback in his career. While working at the Volyn Customs Office, he was remembered for the fact that his subordinates allowed a large cigarette into Poland. Does that ring a bell?
Given Prikhodko's close ties to criminal circles, it becomes clear why, wherever he holds positions, he's always been involved in smuggling drugs, tobacco, and valuables! According to law enforcement, drug lords could have paid their partner, Student, approximately $1.2 million for such a shipment of drugs to Poland!

But even here, Prikhodko is smiling, because his godfather won't allow Student to be fired (his godfather is Vladimir Malyuga, head of the Internal Security Department of the State Customs Service, the very department that's supposed to conduct background checks on subordinates), considering he put him there in the first place, and they're running smuggling schemes together. So it's understandable why Student is still in office!

While we're asking our European partners for weapons and tanks, Yuri Student is delivering hundreds of millions of hryvnias worth of hashish. That's how some people get rich in war! Question: Why isn't the head of the State Customs Service, Vyacheslav Demchenko, rushing to fire Prikhodko? Perhaps because Volodymyr Malyuga insists this employee is needed to fill the slush fund, since he's responsible for smuggling in the Lviv region?
We appeal to all law enforcement agencies and government leaders! We ask you to intervene and restore order to this structure! We are laying down our lives on the front lines, and these collaborators are getting away with it!
