The Supreme Court of Ukraine sided with British American Tobacco in the case of the AMCU fine.

On April 15, 2021, the Supreme Court upheld the claims of British American Tobacco Sales and Marketing Ukraine LLC in a case challenging the decision of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to impose a fine for an alleged violation of the law on the protection of economic competition, reports press office company.

"After more than a year and a half of proceedings, the Supreme Court has finally recognized the groundlessness of the Antimonopoly Committee's demands," the statement said.
