The Supreme Commercial Court of Ukraine upheld the decision of the second-instance court and ordered the state-owned enterprise "UkrNTI Promtekhnologii" to compensate the company of Yanukovych's mistress UAH 17,92 million. This was reported by the website "Nashi Groshi," citing the court's decision.

It is known that in September 2010, Slavutich CJSC and Artem State Agricultural Holding Company entered into an agreement under which Slavutich CJSC leased a children's sanatorium with an area of 2142 square meters. The rent was set at 2265 UAH per month, and the lease term was 35 months. Slavutich CJSC also promised to pay for utilities.

Slavutich JSC was founded by the Road of the Future charitable foundation, which is registered to former President Yanukovych's mistress, Lyubov Polezhai.

As of 2014, the sanatorium belonged to the state enterprise "UkrNTI Promtekhnologii," and the lease agreement with Lyubov Polezhai's company was extended. The state-owned enterprise, which managed the children's health camp, filed a lawsuit in the Kyiv Commercial Court alleging violation of the lease agreement by Slavutich CJSC. The latter failed to pay rent from December 2013 to March 2014. The outstanding rent amounted to 7,76 hryvnias.

The company of Yanukovych's mistress, which leased a children's sanatorium, acknowledged the debt but filed a counterclaim against the state-owned enterprise. In its lawsuit, Polezhai's company demanded compensation of 17,92 million hryvnias for major repairs to the sanatorium.

The court of first instance upheld both claims: the state enterprise against the Polezhai company and Slavutich LLC against the State Enterprise UkrNTI Promtekhnologii.

However, the state-owned enterprise filed an appeal, arguing that the lease agreement had been concluded in violation of the law. According to the plaintiff, the property of the children's sanatorium should have been transferred with the consent of the State Property Fund. The prosecutor's office, representing the State Enterprise "UkrNTI "Promtekhnologii," also pointed out that the Ukrainian Expert Construction Center LLC, which carried out the sanatorium renovations, did not have the required license. However, the appellate commercial court ignored these arguments, and the Supreme Commercial Court upheld the decision of the court of second instance and dismissed the cassation appeal of the State Enterprise "UkrNTI "Promtekhnologii" against the company belonging to Yanukovych's mistress.
