Yanukovych fled, but his factories continue to receive state orders.

Yanuk with his sonAccording to official sources, Lisichanskvugol awarded one of Viktor Yanukovych's proxy companies (the Komsomolskaya Central Enrichment Plant) a coal enrichment order totaling UAH 17,60 million (at UAH 55 per ton). This isn't the first order of this kind: a previous deal worth UAH 60,71 million (at UAH 65 per ton) was signed with the same company. This is reported by Our money.

This is unsurprising: the only competitor in the tender was the Industrial Company Obogatitel, which asked 66,5 hryvnias per ton of raw material. What's surprising is that both companies are owned by protégés of the scandalous former president. The first, Komsomolskaya, is completely controlled by the DRFC, which belongs to the fugitive president's son (Oleksandr Yanukovych), and the second is controlled by the former director of Centerenergostoy (Oleksandr Zaritsky), who had direct ties to Yanukovych's "family." Since the property of state criminals has yet to be confiscated, it appears that the state is still paying them handsome dividends out of its own pocket.
