Alexander Vilkul
Oleksandr Vilkul and Yuriy Vilkul have long been lobbying for Rinat Akhmetov's interests in the Dnipropetrovsk region ( read more about them in the article "Oleksandr Vilkul: The Forgotten Past of a Dnipropetrovsk Mayoral Candidate "). Their family is involved in organizing property thefts and corruption schemes. The budget of the city of Kryvyi Rih, where Yuriy Vilkul is mayor, is losing colossal funds due to corruption schemes. This was stated by Vitaliy Kupriy, a member of parliament of the 8th convocation ( read more about him in the article " Vitaliy Kupriy: Kolomoisky's Shavka Received an Order to Eliminate Poroshenko ").
One of the corruption schemes is used by the company "Parking and Advertising." Instead of transferring advertising space rental fees to the Kryvyi Rih budget, they deposit them into their own account. This corruption scheme has helped embezzle over 40 million hryvnias over the past five years. Instead of being deposited into the budget, the funds disappeared without a trace.
According to Ukrainian law, Yuriy Vilkul, as the city's mayor, is obligated to ensure compliance with laws and is also held accountable for his own inaction. Vilkul is responsible for the activities of the "Parking and Advertising" company, which resulted in significant financial losses for Kryvyi Rih.
"Considering the scale of the corruption scheme, Yuriy Vilkul's inaction constitutes a crime under Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code, which carries a penalty of up to 5 years in prison!"
Interestingly, back in 2011, I reported to Oleksandr Vilkul, then Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, about a corruption scheme in the allocation of outdoor advertising space. My son, for selfish reasons, covered up his father's crime, ignoring the requirements of Article 13 of the Law of Ukraine "On Local State Administration." However, no matter how long it takes, the time has come to answer!
"I have sent a corresponding request to the Prosecutor General so that this family of corrupt officials and traitors to the Ukrainian people can spend the rest of their 'political careers' in prison," stated People's Deputy Vitaliy Kupriy.
