First of all, today’s “attack” on Akhmetov’s people, and specifically on Oleksandr Vilkul, aims to demonstrate that the Dnipropetrovsk measure on the right against Korban is in no way political and is not connected with the elections. Russian billionaire Vadim Novinsky has been a citizen of Ukraine for “as many as” three years. In 2007, Novinsky merged its metallurgical assets with the assets of the Metinvest group, which was part of the business empire of Rinat Akhmetov. As a result, Smart Holding became the owner of more than 25% of Metinvest shares. In addition, the Novinsky holding company controls the VAT Yakovlevsky mine in the Bilgorod region of Russia.
