Police detained Igor Guzhva, editor-in-chief of the VESTI newspaper, during a rally in support of the publication.

"Three police officers forcibly pushed VESTI editor Igor Guzhva into a car and drove away," reports an APOSTROPHE correspondent.

The rally took place near the Mystetskyi Arsenal building, where the 11th Yalta European Strategy Forum (YES) is taking place. Several people attempted to break into the building, but security blocked the entrance. The protesters later moved to the sidewalk on Lavrska Street.

As a reminder, on September 11, the SBU conducted procedural actions at the VESTI editorial office as part of a criminal investigation into an offense against Ukraine's territorial integrity.

Igor Guzhva himself claimed that the reason for such close attention from law enforcement agencies was the publication of an article about the daughter of the head of the SBU, Olga Nalyvaichenko, living in Manhattan. Guzhva spoke about the reasons for the search of the VESTI editorial office. + VIDEO
