Maxim Konchin
On December 25, representatives of the Coordination Council of Maidan Forces inspected the estate of Cherkasy Oblast Deputy Prosecutor Maksym Konchin. His home is located in the Sosnovka district. Activists armed themselves with posters calling for the prosecutor's lustration.
Konchin came out to the crowd and assured them that all the necessary permits for the land plot were in place. He also reported that he had approached the city council with a request to privatize an additional 5 square meters and allocate another 5 square meters for rent. According to Konchin, the house in Sosnovka belonged to his father and was a gift to him. The prosecutor also stated that he earns approximately 9 hryvnias per month, and that the maintenance of the 277-square-meter house costs him 1,5 hryvnias per month.
It was previously reported that, according to Konchin's declaration, his family's total income is 259,953 hryvnias. Konchin also owns a house, a garage, a plot of land, and a Mazda car. Journalists also located the estate of Prosecutor General Vitaliy Yarema in an elite cottage community, and judging by his residence, he also appears to be well off.
As a reminder, Maksym Konchin was appointed Deputy Prosecutor of the Cherkasy Region by Svoboda's acting Prosecutor General Makhnitsky in April of this year.
