By order of Prosecutor General Shokin, Vladimir Krivenko has been appointed deputy head of the specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. This was reported by the agency's press service.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, Shokin signed the order appointing Krivenko based on a recommendation from Nazar Kholodnytsky, head of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. Vladimir Krivenko's candidacy for the leadership position was also recommended by the selection committee that selected candidates for positions in the specialized prosecutor's office.

It is known about the new Deputy Anti-Corruption Prosecutor that he began his career as the head of the department for the protection of constitutional freedoms and citizens' rights in the Cherkasy Oblast Prosecutor's Office.

From 2010 to 2014, he served as the prosecutor of the Chyhyryn district of the Cherkasy region. In 2014, he was appointed head of the prosecutor's office.

Since the beginning of 2015, Krivenko has been the guarantor of compliance with laws in the Cherkasy Oblast Prosecutor's Office by employees of the State Customs Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the State Tax Service.

In 2014, Krivenko declared 144,663 hryvnias in income. Of this, 129,772 hryvnias was salary, the rest was insurance payments. The new Deputy Anti-Corruption Prosecutor owns a 2012 Hyundai Accent and two apartments.
