The deputy battalion commander sold an Opel Fronteira intended for ATO fighters.

Bat LugansA scandal has erupted in the Lviv region surrounding a vehicle donated by volunteers for the ATO zone. Back in May, an Opel Frontera was transferred to the combat zone but disappeared along with the ambulance. According to media reports, Andriy Umrikhin, a regional administration official, was involved. He previously served in the Luhansk-1 Battalion and was deputy battalion commander. It was he who requested the vehicle, ostensibly for the front.

However, it later emerged that Umrikhin had simply sold the car for 28 hryvnias. Its new owner was Petro, a driver from the Luhansk-1 Battalion, even though the documents indicated the car was military property and had a special license plate.

Volunteers from the Help and Care Foundation, who provided the car, are currently preparing a police report.
