Zaporizhzhia "overseer" Vemir Davityan worked on the scandalous elections in the Carpathian region – for both teams
According to our sources, the man who calls himself the new Zaporizhzhia "overseer" - businessman Vemir Davityan - took part in the scandalous elections of people's deputy in district No. 87 (Ivano-Frankivsk region), writes Anticorrosive
There were two main contenders for the mandate in this district: the famous athlete Vasyl Virastyuk from Servant of the People and the "master of Bukovel" Alexander Shevchenko, who is one of the closest business partners of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky and his protégé.
According to the Central Election Commission's website, Vasyl Virastyuk beat Oleksandr Shevchenko by less than 1% of the vote. Shevchenko believes the results were falsified and is filing a recount in the courts.
According to our sources, Zaporizhzhia resident Vemir Davityan formally worked on Virastyuk's team during these controversial elections, which was supposed to protect his result. Davityan arrived at this headquarters on his own initiative, citing his acquaintance with Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko. Vemir Davityan describes himself as Tymoshenko's "overseer" in Zaporizhzhia. Davityan and Tymoshenko have been repeatedly recorded meeting informally in Kyiv. Furthermore, Vemir Davityan regularly accompanies the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office during his visits to Zaporizhzhia.
However, we also learned that Vemir Davityan, while at Virastyuk's headquarters, worked for the opposing team, Oleksandr Shevchenko, a Kolomoisky protégé. He supplied them with information about the activities of Virastyuk's headquarters.
Vemir Davityan's connections to Kolomoisky's people are no secret. Davityan has been representing the interests of the Dnipropetrovsk "authoritative businessman" in Zaporizhzhia for several years. Alexander Petrovsky-NareklishviliFor a while, Davityan even traveled around the city in cars with Dnipropetrovsk license plates. Petrovskyi-Nareklishvili himself is one of Kolomoisky's partners and allies in Dnipro. Furthermore, in Zaporizhzhia, specifically in the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, Vemir Davityan relies on the "For the Future" party, led by Gennady Fuks, which—and it's no secret—is a project of Ihor Kolomoisky.
