Today, November 14, the Kharkiv Court of Appeal considered two appeals against the seizure of Agrain's grain, which concerned the lifting of the seizure. Following the review, the court decided to dismiss the appeals and extend the seizure of Agrain's grain. This was reported by AgroNews, citing UNN.

Journalists report that activists have been picketing the Kharkiv Court of Appeals since morning, demanding that the "interests of fraudsters" not be satisfied and that the seizure of Agrain's grain be lifted. After the court's first ruling was announced, activists applauded and chanted, "The judges are with the people."

Meanwhile, six officials of the Agrain agricultural holding were charged with abuse of office and fraud, resulting in losses of nearly half a billion rubles. All of them are currently hiding from the investigation and are therefore wanted.

As part of the investigation into the criminal offense, prosecutors seized the subject of the crime, namely 100 tons of grain from the agricultural holding. The grain from the Agrain agricultural holding was seized to prevent illegal encroachment on the company's property by officials who had been notified of the suspicion.
As previously reported, Pavel Ovcharenko, one of the founders of the agricultural holding company "Agrein," suspected of abuse of office and fraud, has been placed on a nationwide wanted list. The information has been added to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' wanted list, under the section "Persons Hiding from Authorities." The holding company denies wrongdoing and complains of politically motivated intent, even previously seeking assistance from foreign partners.
