Ukrainian politician and businessman David Zhvania told Ukrainska Pravda in an interview that Steuermann is owned by People's Front MP Mykola Martynenko.

According to Zhvania, he himself has no connection to the Steuermann holding company, although in 2007, Martynenko insisted on establishing the company as a partnership with Zhvania. To achieve this, in 2007, the then-CEO of the company, Igor Kerez, was replaced by Sergei Pereloma. Kerez joined the supervisory board of Diamant Bank.

Currently, according to Zhvania, he and Martynenko have "had a rift," and the businessman himself is not a shareholder in the holding company. Thus, sole control of Steuermann rests with the People's Front member Mykola Martynenko.

It's worth noting that MP Serhiy Leshchenko previously wrote in his blog that the company "STEUERMANN" Investitions und Handelsgesellschaft mbH is within Zhvania and Martynenko's sphere of interest due to its connection to the Zaporizhzhia Abrasive Plant. It's also significant that the aforementioned Kerez served as Zhvania's assistant in two parliamentary convocations.
