The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has authorized Artur Chechotkin to buy out 46,31% of the shares of the Ukrainian Construction and Investment Bank, according to the NBU's website. As a reminder, Artur Chechotkin is the husband of MP Yulia Tymoshenko, the daughter of Batkivshchyna faction leader and MP.
Thus, the remaining 53,69% of shares can be acquired by Chechetkin’s business partner Svetlana Demyanenko.
Currently, shares of Ukrstroyinvestbank are owned by the Swiss Aspra Finanz Holding AG (Sinan Bodmer) (46,31%) and former MP from the Party of Regions Nver Mkhitaryan (53,69%).
In terms of assets, Ukrstroyinvestbank ranked 85th among 109 banks as of April 1, 2016.
