The Kyiv Commercial Court, without summoning the parties, renewed the deadline for former PrivatBank owner Gennady Bogolyubov to provide evidence in the case of invalidating the bail-in agreements for the financial institution's shares, writes EP.

«The procedural law requires the Plaintiff to provide all the evidence he has along with the statement of claim, and in case of impossibility, to indicate the reasons and provide evidence of the implementation of all actions dependent on the person to obtain the said evidence."," the bank explained.

In turn, Bogolyubov cited the introduction of martial law and quarantine in Ukraine in February 2022 as grounds for resuming the procedural deadline.

Furthermore, the court rejected PrivatBank's motion to dismiss the claim, which the bank believed was due to manipulation of the automatic distribution system.

The bank emphasized that the lawsuit violates the law "On the Deposit Guarantee System for Individuals," which prohibits demanding shares from an investor, which is the state.
